Let me take you back to a time period of a long, long time ago. You have been dropped into the great frontier. . .
We will step back in time and learn about the history, life and sports in the 1800s. There will be demonstrations of blacksmithing and campfire cooking, and sports and games like donkey penning and cricket. We will make cornhusk dolls, walk the Brewer Cabin tours, watch performances by the Chickasaw Dancers and shop the local artisan market for now and early Christmas gifts.
If you are not able to join us on the field trip date, make plans to attend the weekend Frontier Days 2017 on Saturday and Sunday, October 21-2.
