Many colleges and universities offer high school students dual enrollment options. Students are able to earn college credit that may also be used towards their high school graduation requirements. The University of Tennessee Martin offers dual enrollment courses to students with a requirement of “a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA, parent or guardian approval, school approval and a dual enrollment application.” The program is open to high school juniors and seniors.
Registration is now open for the dual enrollment program through Sunday, August 27. You may also do late registration from Monday, August 28, through Friday, September 1, 2017, but why wait. Waiting reduces your opportunity for acceptance, scholarships and class availability. There are several locations across Tennessee to take dual enrollment classes.
