“Humorist Jean Shepherd’s memoir of growing up in the Midwest in the 1930s follows nine-year-old Ralphie Parker in his quest to get a genuine Red Ryder BB gun under the tree for Christmas. Ralphie pleads his case before his mother, his teacher and even Santa Claus himself, at Goldblatts’s Department Store. Ralphie is met with the repeated response, “You’ll shoot your eye out!””

Venue: The Harrell Theatre, 440 West Powell Road, Collierville, 38017
Suggested age: Third grade through adult, but you determine if the production is appropriate for your age of child. This is a school production, so it should really be fine.

Admission: Admission is $7 each for children and adults.
Schedule: Meet at the Harrell Theatre at 9:30 a.m. The performance will begin at 10 a.m.
Reservation deadline: Reservations will be accepted through Monday, December 5, 2016. Once the spaces fill, reservations will close. To make a reservation, click here to e-mail Homeschool Roster your request. Please include the number of children and adults that will be attending. You will receive an e-mail response confirming receipt of your reservation. No refunds will be issued after Friday. November 25, 2016.
