FIELD TRIP: Ivy Green and Ice Cream {Members}

EVENT DETAILS
Amazing is one simple word to describe the accomplishments of author, lecturer, and political activist Helen Keller; not to mention Helen was the first blind and deaf person to earn a bachelor of arts degree. Ivy Green is Helen’s birthplace and where many of the stories, like the notable one of Helen at the fountain, you read about her life took place. The day will be an educational experience and will bring to life the woman who conquered many challenges. After visiting Ivy Green, we will finish the afternoon at an ice cream parlor.

SUGGESTED AGE/GRADE
