Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson is offering a free After School Art session for children, ages five to 11. The program is offered through its Department of Fine Arts to provide community children the opportunity to experience and create art. Children will be introduced to a variety of materials and media during the sessions. The last class in the series is Thursday, November 5 from 3:45 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Your child did not have to attend the previous sessions in the series to participate in the last class meeting.
If you believe your child may have an interest in participating, call Audrey Robertson at (731) 989-6632 or e-mail Barbara England for more information. Classes will be held in the Bulliner-Clayton Visual Arts Center, East 2nd Street, Henderson 38340.
