Is anyone who they appear or propose to be? You will have to figure it out in Oscar Wilde’s play The Importance of Being Earnest that has amused some and confused others with the mischievous behavior of Algernon and Ernest or John or Jack. The lengths one will go to in an attempt to avoid social obligations, such as marriage and other issues, during the late Victorian London period are funny or offensive and what carries this play for a brilliant and entertaining story.

Date: Thursday, March 10, 2016
Time: 9 a.m.
Schedule: Meet at The Ned at 8:30 a.m. to check-in with the event leader and get settled. The performance will begin at 9 a.m.
Admission: Tickets are $5 each for children and adults.
Reservation deadline: Reservations will be accepted through Friday, February 19, 2016. Once the spaces fill, reservations will close. To make a reservation, click here to e-mail Homeschool Roster your request. Please include the date(s) you would like to attend, and the number of children and adults that will be attending. You will receive an e-mail response confirming receipt of your reservation. No refunds will be issued after Friday, February 19, 2016.
This is a public event and Homeschool Roster has made arrangements for us to attend as a group. The field trip is open to those currently or considering homeschooling and their families. Please feel free to share the event with other homeschoolers.
