Audition Notice: The Play That Goes Wrong
Star Inc. is holding auditions for The Play That Goes Wrong, written by Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, and Henry Shields, on Friday and Saturday, February 3 and 4, 2023, at the Fair Theatre in Somerville. The production is directed by Thomas Farmer, a homeschool graduate, who has previous experience as a director as well as actor and singer on stage.
The cast includes six males, two females, and four to six stage crew, ages 16 years and older {see character list}. Those interested in auditioning must be prepared for a cold read of sections of the script and some simple improv. You will only need to audition once on Friday or Saturday. Call backs are Monday, February 6, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. and are mandatory for those who are selected to return for consideration. Although a resume is not required, please bring it to the auditions if you have one.
The production dates are Friday through Sunday, May 5 – 7 and 12 – 14, 2023.
