EVENT REFERENCE SHEET: Donut Making

This is the event reference sheet for the Donut Making field trip. It contains my contact telephone number. If you have any questions about the field trip or need to notify me about a delay in your arrival, contact me regarding these matters before or on the day of the event.

An event leader will not be onsite!

Physical tickets will not be distributed for this field trip.

Time
11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Schedule
10:45 a.m. – Arrive at the Donut Hutt.
11 a.m. – The Donut Making field trip begins.
12:30 p.m. – The Donut Making field trip ends about this time.

Check-in
When you arrive at the Donut Hutt, you will check in with Rick, who is the owner of the shop.

Parking
Parking is free at the Donut Hutt.

Note
People attending the Donut Hutt field trip must have a confirmed reservation with Homeschool Roster. Only people registered and paid are on the list to make donuts. All others are on the list to watch and assist their child is needed.

Late Arrivals
If you are late on the day of the field trip, contact me only either by voice or text. I will not be checking Facebook PM or other.

Birds, Reptiles, and Snakes and a Hike {February 14}

We will start the morning with a hike and later in the afternoon learn about Tennessee’s birds of prey and the exciting characteristics that set them apart from one another. We will also learn about reptiles and snakes, from non-venomous to venomous, about the important role snakes play in the ecosystem as well as the significance of animal conservation in parks and at home. { register now }

Featuring a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, R&B and Broadway, Hamilton has taken the story of American founding father Alexander Hamilton and created a revolutionary moment in theatre – a musical that has had a profound impact on culture, politics, and education. { register now }


The Carnegie Center for Arts and History {February 28}

EVENT DETAILS
The Carnegie Center for Arts and History is reopening in February and we are going to see the results of the renovations and learn about the history of regional Tennessee music. The Carnegie includes over 500 relics celebrating the songwriters and performers from the area. { register now }
