DESCRIPTION:EVENT DETAILS\n\nThere is no better way to kick off the new school year than with a pool party. Homeschool Roster is returning to Thornton’s Pool for our annual Back-to-Homeschool Splash. We want to have some fun and celebrate the beginning of a new school year. We think Thornton’s Pool is the place to do it. If you have ever had the opportunity to swim\, jump from the rope swing\, hold your position on the balance deck or hang out on the rocks (and that isn’t everything)\, we think you will agree. \nThornton’s has a larger pool area (main pool) and a smaller wading pool for little children to use. The larger pool starts at about four feet shallow. There are plenty of lounge chairs (under a covered area or out under the sun) for parents (and grandparents) who may not want to swim or prefer to watch. \n  \nTHERE WILL BE NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY! \n  \nSUGGESTED AGE/GRADE\nThe suggested age/grade is preschool through high school students\, and adults. \nATTIRE\nSwimsuits should be trunks for boys and men and one piece or modest two piece swim suits for girls and women. T-shirts may also be worn with trunks (for boys and men) or with the one or modest two piece swim suits (for girls and women). \nNOTES\nThornton’s Pool is a private residence. There will be pets (ex: dogs – roaming\, and llamas and groundhogs contained) on property on the day of the event. If you have children (or you) who are afraid of animals\, please keep that in mind before registering to attend. This is a rain or shine event. \nDATES & TIMES\nFriday\, July 26\, 2024\, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.\nFriday\, August 2\, 2024\, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.\nFriday\, August 16\, 2024\, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. \nLOCATION\nThornton’s Pool – Covington \nPRICE\nAdmission is $11 each for children (two and older) and adults. I know some parents may not prefer to get in the water at all and would just like to lounge by the side of the pool. If you are not getting in the water\, your admission is free\, but you do need to register or you will not be admitted. Space for non-swimmers is limited. If you think you will want to get in the water (or dip your feet in the pool)\, you should pay the admission fee\, so you will have that option. You are asked not to get in the pool (or dip your feet) if you do not register and pay to swim. Please abide by that request. Thank you. \nPARKING\nThere is limited parking. One parking space will be allotted for each family registration. All families are advised to register their own and not combine registrations with another family\, because only one parking space will be available reserved per reservation. \nREGISTRATION DEADLINE\nRegistration will remain open through Thursday\, July 18\, 2024\, at 12 p.m. CST or until spaces fill. DESCRIPTION:EVENT DETAILS\n\nThere is no better way to kick off the new school year than with a pool party. Homeschool Roster is returning to Thornton’s Pool for our annual Back-to-Homeschool Splash. We want to have some fun and celebrate the beginning of a new school year. We think Thornton’s Pool is the place to do it. If you have ever had the opportunity to swim\, jump from the rope swing\, hold your position on the balance deck or hang out on the rocks (and that isn’t everything)\, we think you will agree. \nThornton’s has a larger pool area (main pool) and a smaller wading pool for little children to use. The larger pool starts at about four feet shallow. There are plenty of lounge chairs (under a covered area or out under the sun) for parents (and grandparents) who may not want to swim or prefer to watch. \n  \nTHERE WILL BE NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY! \n  \nSUGGESTED AGE/GRADE\nThe suggested age/grade is preschool through high school students\, and adults. \nATTIRE\nSwimsuits should be trunks for boys and men and one piece or modest two piece swim suits for girls and women. T-shirts may also be worn with trunks (for boys and men) or with the one or modest two piece swim suits (for girls and women). \nNOTES\nThornton’s Pool is a private residence. There will be pets (ex: dogs – roaming\, and llamas and groundhogs contained) on property on the day of the event. If you have children (or you) who are afraid of animals\, please keep that in mind before registering to attend. This is a rain or shine event. \nDATES & TIMES\nFriday\, July 26\, 2024\, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.\nFriday\, August 2\, 2024\, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.\nFriday\, August 16\, 2024\, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. \nLOCATION\nThornton’s Pool – Covington \nPRICE\nAdmission is $11 each for children (two and older) and adults. Although children under two are free\, they will need at least one parent/guardian in the water with them even if the child is only using the wading pool. I know some parents may not prefer to get in the water at all and would just like to lounge by the side of the pool. If you are not getting in the water\, your admission is free\, but you do need to register or you will not be admitted. Space for non-swimmers is limited. If you think you will want to get in the water (or dip your feet in the pool)\, you should pay the admission fee\, so you will have that option. You are asked not to get in the pool (or dip your feet) if you do not register and pay to swim. Please abide by that request. Thank you. \nPARKING\nThere is limited parking. One parking space will be allotted for each family registration. All families are advised to register their own and not combine registrations with another family\, because only one parking space will be available reserved per reservation. \nREGISTRATION DEADLINE\nRegistration will remain open through Thursday\, July 18\, 2024\, at 12 p.m. CST or until spaces fill. Funds must be received by Thursday\, July 18\, 2024\, at 12 p.m. CST to be included with the group. \nPERMISSION SLIP AND WAIVER & RELEASE FORM\nEvery adult attending (swimming or not) must sign a permission slip/waiver release form. On the form\, you are to include all of your children (swimming or not) who will attend the field trip. If a child is attending with another family\, that child will need a permission slip/waiver release form signed by their parent/legal guardian (and not the adult bringing them). The form will be e-mailed to you once your reservation is confirmed. You may bring the signed form (sign both the top and bottom copies of the forms) on the day of the field trip or e-mail a completed form to homeschoolroster@gmail.com. \nPAYMENT OPTIONS\nInclude your name\, and the name\, date\, and time of the field trip\, so your funds will be applied properly. \n\n\n1) Check written to “Ponomo” and received at Homeschool Roster\, P.O. Box 614\, Bolivar\, Tennessee 38008. \n2) PayPal as “Friends and Family” to Homeschool Roster (homeschoolroster@gmail.com). Funds will be returned if not sent in that manner. \n3) Venmo to Homeschool Roster (@homeschoolroster)\, not a purchase. Funds will be returned if not sent in that manner. \n  \nRefunds will not be issued after Thursday\, July 18\, 2024\, at 12 p.m. CST.

DESCRIPTION:CAP AND GOWN ORDER \nOrdering Cap and Gown\nIt is time to order the cap and gown\, which are black\, for graduation. Your order includes a cap with tassel (1)\, gown (1)\, and a 2026 charm (1). All are included with your graduation registration fee\, so no additional funds are needed to be paid.\n \n\nChoosing Size\n\nThe cap and gown measurements shown on the chart fit true to size. You do not have to order a size larger than listed for a good fit. \n \nShipping\nThe order will be shipped to the address you list. \nOrder Deadline\nThe deadline to place your order is Thursday\, March 5\, 2026. \nUpon Receipt\nOnce you receive the cap and gown\, please have your student try them on to confirm everything fits. If there is a problem with the size\, take note and respond to this e-mail immediately with any issues. \nDIPLOMA COVER \n\n\nDiploma covers with an umbrella school name or logo are available through the school. Please contact your umbrella school to order a cover for your graduate’s diploma.
