FIELD TRIP: From Soil to Sprout – An Organic Farm Tour

EVENT DETAILS
On the farm, students will learn how to grow food in ways that build community and increase the neighborhood’s access to healthy foods. The goal is to teach students to become healthy eaters, entrepreneurs, and advocates for social and environmental justice.

We get to do some taste testing (always fun) of what is grown. Depending on what is ready to harvest when we visit, students may be able to make a salad to eat.
