If you are a homeschooler, you probably love deals, discounts and more. The following is a list of locations throughout Tennessee that have special days just for homeschool families for the 2019/2020 season. If you are looking for more free or discounted days at venues, check this out! Also, bookmark this page, because it is an ongoing list. More homeschool days will be added.

SEPTEMBER
What: Belle Meade Plantation Homeschool Days
Where: Nashville
When: September 30, 2019
Price: Student admission is $10 each (ages four through high school) and one parent/teacher is free. All additional adults are $15 each. Children (ages three and under), who are observing and not participating, are free.
Details: The Belle Meade Homeschool Days is a five-part series on American History. Each date will focus on an aspect of the period. The theme for this date is “Antebellum/Civil War (1840-1870)”.

What: Homeschool Days at Mid-South Ice House
Where: Olive Branch, Mississippi
When: September 4, 11, 18 and 25, 2019
Price: Admission is $7, which includes skate rental.
Details: Skate time is 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

What: Homeschool, FFA & 4-H Day at Delta Fair & Music Festival
Where: Memphis
When: September 6, 2019
Price: Get a special discount on admission and ride wristbands until 2 p.m. on Homeschool Day. Admission is $5 each for children (ages five through high school) and adults. Children (four and under) are free. Ride wristbands are $15 (regular price of $25 after 2 p.m.)
Details: Spend a day at the Delta Fair and enjoy entertainment, rides, cotton candy, funnel cakes and more. Be sure to purchase your tickets before 2 p.m. to receive the discount. Read more details about the fair.

What: Nashville Zoo’s Homeschool Days
Where: Nashville
When: September 18 and 19, 2019
Price: Members are $6 each and non-members are $13 each. Tax may apply.
Details: The theme for this session is “Top of the Heap”. The programming is for children in kindergarten through eighth grades and they will be separated according to their grade level (ex: K-1, 2-4 and 5-8). Parents and younger siblings are not able to attend the program, but may visit the zoo for the price of admission or membership. Registration opens on August 28.

What: Nashville Zoo’s Homeschool Days
Where: Nashville
When: September 18 and 19, 2019
Price: Members are $6 each and non-members are $13 each. Tax may apply.
Details: The theme for this session is “Top of the Heap”. The programming is for children in kindergarten through eighth grades and they will be separated according to their grade level (ex: K-1, 2-4 and 5-8). Parents and younger siblings are not able to attend the program, but may visit the zoo for the price of admission or membership. Registration opens on August 28.

What: High Point Climbing and Fitness Memphis Homeschool Day
Where: Memphis
When: September 23, 2019
Price: Climbers will save 50 percent on admission. Adults are regularly $17.50 and $15.50 for children (age 10 and under).
Details: Hang out and climb high from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for half price. Climbing gear is free.

What: Sky Zone Homeschool Hop
Where: Jackson
When: September 4, 11, 18 and 25, 2019
Price: Admission is $10 each for student jumpers and $5 each for additional siblings (up to two). A sock fee of $3 each applies for Sky Zone jump socks. The socks may be reused and brought to future Sky Zone visits.
Details: Jump time is from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. A waiver is required for all jumpers and may be completed online or onsite. The waiver is valid for one year. Do it before you arrive or arrive earlier, so you don’t miss out on jump time. Jumpers must be school age (ex: kindergarten through high school) to jump. Jumpers over the two additional siblings are $10 each. Parents/adults are not able to jump during this time.

When: October 2 and 3, 2019
Price: Members are $6 each and non-members are $13 each. Tax may apply.
Details: The theme for this session is “The Scoop on Poop”. The programming is for children in kindergarten through eighth grades and they will be separated according to their grade level (ex: K-1, 2-4 and 5-8). Parents and younger siblings are not able to attend the program, but may visit the zoo for the price of admission or membership. Registration opens on September 18.

What: Hermitage Homeschool Days
Where: Nashville
When: October 4, 2019
Price: Admission is $48 per family, which includes four family members (1 adult and 3 children – infant to high school). Additional people are $11 per student and $18 per adult. Children under five are free. Tax may apply.
Details: The theme is a “Presidential Toast”. The program is from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and includes a guided tour of the mansion, self-guided tour of the Hermitage grounds, exhibit galleries and film. It is suggested you purchase tickets in advance.

When: October 9, 2019
Price: Climbers will save 50 percent on admission. Adults are regularly $17.50 and $15.50 for children (age 10 and under).
Details: Hang out and climb high from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for half price. Climbing gear is free.
