The National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) National College Fair is coming to Memphis in April and bringing representatives from close to 100 colleges and universities from around the United States. I am not going to lie about trying to keep my children (i.e. babies – can’t leave home until they are 99) close to home, but this is a great opportunity for all high school students. It is not too early for freshman to start thinking about college. I will be taking my freshman child.
The National College Fair will have admission representatives ready to visit and speak with your teen, so they can find the “perfect college” that could be the right fit for them. Attendees will be able to ask questions and get answers about the schools, the admission process, campus life and more.
Although the event is free, you may want to register now for the Memphis fair, so you can bypass the registration line at the door.
There will be a morning and afternoon session on Thursday, April 11, from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. One of those should fit your schedule.
