Tennessee Tech University Hosts Explorations in Engineering and Computing Camp

9 - 12, Cookeville, engineering, Putnam County, Summer Camps

Tennessee Tech University’s (TTU) College of Engineering is hosting the 2023 Explorations in Engineering and Computing Summer Camp, a three-day summer camp for rising tenth, eleventh, and twelfth grade students. Campers will learn about engineering, computing, and engineering technology through hands-on projects related to the top engineering and computing fields, taught by TTU faculty members. Students will work directly with industry leaders, tour and experiment in state-of-the-art laboratories, and experience all college life has to offer. Current TTU students in the engineering department will be mentors to campers to give them insight into student and academic life at the university. During this program, students will be mentored by current Tennessee Tech students and learn what it means to be an engineering student.

The camp dates are June 11-14, 22023 and July 9-12, 2023. Student may only attend one camp session. Although registration is now closed for the overnight/residential camp option, students may still attend the camp as a day student.

APPLICANT: Tenth through twelfth grade students.
