DESCRIPTION:EVENT DETAILS\nWe will tour the Hardeman County Courthouse\, meet Mayor Todd Pulse (a home school dad)\, and visit the different departments that make the county run. We will also visit the Little Courthouse\, constructed on Court Square in 1824 to serve as the first courthouse and jail in the newly formed Hardeman County. In 1827\, a new courthouse was built\, and the building was moved to its present location and used as a private residence. If you or your child enjoy history\, this is a tour not to miss. Our docent at the Little Courthouse is a wealth of Hardeman County history. \nSUGGESTED AGE/GRADE\nThe suggested age/grade is third grade through high school students\, and adults. \nDATE & TIME\nWednesday\, November 19\, 2025\, at 10 a.m. \nLOCATION\nHardeman County Courthouse\nLittle Courthouse \nPRICE\nAdult – $0\nStudent – $0\nChild – $0 \nNOTES\nPlease only register for your family; do not combine different families on one registration. If your child is attending with another family\, please register your child and add a note in the comments with the name of the family bringing your child. \nThis is a walking and standing tour. DESCRIPTION:EVENT DETAILS\nI am absolutely totally excited about this tour. We are headed to Middleton\, Tennessee to learn its history through mural form. The tour will include a stop at J.P. Shelly & Sons\, a staple in the City for more than 100 years. We will learn its impact on a community as a one-stop location for all mercantile needs. We will move to the Middleton mural for a presentation by muralist\, who will share the vision behind the mural and the process she followed to bring the history to life with the stroke of her paint brush. The tour will continue to the Green Frog\, which is in a building that formally was the City police station\, depot\, and inn. The experience will be a wonderful history lesson. \nSUGGESTED AGE/GRADE\nThe suggested age/grade is second grade through high school students\, and adults. \nDATE & TIME\nThursday\, September 11\, 2025\, at 12 p.m. \nLOCATION\nMiddleton \nPRICE\nAdult – $0\nStudent – $0\nChild – $0 \nNOTES\nPlease only register for your family; do not combine different families on one registration.
