SUMMARY:FIELD TRIP: Tennessee Safari Park
DESCRIPTION:EVENT DETAILS\nLions and tigers and bears\, oh my . . . well\, maybe not\, but Miniature Zebu\, Scarlet Macaw and White Bearded Wildebeast. Regardless\, it’s a safari out there and we will be right there in the midst of it all. After living in Tennessee as long as I have\, it has taken me this long to finally visit the Tennessee Safari Park. If you join us\, you will get to go on a guided safari bus ride through the park\, feed the animals and walk through another park area to see even more zoo animals. After the bus ride\, you may drive your vehicle through to see additional tour area where more safari animals live. It’s wild\, I know.\n\nA neat bit of history: The Tennessee Safari Park is located on a century farm owned by the Conley Family since 1858\, called Hillcrest.\nSUGGESTED AGE/GRADE\nThe suggested age/grade is preschool through high school students\, and adults. \n\n\nDATES & TIMES\nFriday\, September 26\, 2025\, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. \nLOCATION\nTennessee Safari Park – 618 Conley Road\, Alamo\, 38001 \nPRICE\nAdult (parent/teacher) – $0 – One parent/teacher is permitted to accompany their child(ren) at no charge. Any additional adult must pay the full price.\nAdult – $16\nStudent – $12\nChild – $12 (age two through high school) \nFood Buckets – $3 each or four buckets for $10 \n  \nNOTES\nFood buckets are provided on the tour bus. If you plan to drive through in your vehicle after the tour\, you may want to purchase a food bucket. \nPARKING\nParking is free at the Tennessee Safari Park. \nREGISTRATION DEADLINE\nRegistration will remain open through Thursday\, September 11\, 2025\, at 12 p.m. CST or until spaces fill. Funds must be received by Thursday\, September 11\, 2025\, at 12 p.m. CST to be included with the group. \nWAIVER & RELEASE\nRead the field trip waiver and release form. \n  \nRefunds will not be issued after Thursday\, September 11\, 2025\, at 12 p.m. CST.
