FIELD TRIP: Birds, Snakes, and Trail Walking

EVENT DETAILS
We will start the morning with a hike and later in the afternoon learn about Tennessee’s birds of prey and the exciting characteristics that set them apart from one another. We will also learn about snakes, from non-venomous to venomous, about the important role snakes play in the ecosystem as well as the significance of animal conservation in parks and at home.
SUGGESTED AGE/GRADE
The suggested age/grade is mid-elementary school through high school students, and adults.

NOTES
We are walking a trail, so consider the ages (ex: little legs and no easy stroller area) of the children you register to attend.
Please only register for your family; do not combine different families on one registration. If your child is attending with another family, please register your child and add a note in the comments with the name of the family bringing your child.
PARKING
Parking is free at Chickasaw State Park.
