On Valentine’s Day night during World War II, a Manhattan radio station decides at the last minute it would be a good national morale-booster to replace regularly scheduled programming with a live performance of Shakespeare’s ribald love story with its acting company that thought it had been released for the night (already in their cups or out the door). You get to see the backstage noir version of Shakespeare’s inducement to the wooing Kate-and-Petruchio comedy; and then the on-air performance, which the rest of the world will only hear (thank goodness). And the music of Rodgers and Hart, Sinatra, and Crosby? Too darn hot. ~ Tennessee Shakespeare Company

NOTES
Please only register for your family; do not combine different families on one registration. If your child is attending with another family, please register your child and add a note in the comments with the name of the family bringing your child.
All people entering the theatre must have a purchased ticket, and children must be five years or older to attend. TSC performances are theatre-in-the-round, which does not allow for easy exit access during a performance.
PARKING
Parking is free at the TSC.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE
Registration will remain open through Thursday, January 29, 2026, at 12 p.m. CST or until spaces fill.

There are three payment options. Include your name, the name associated with the order, and the order number of the registration in the comments/as a note, so your funds will be applied properly.

Tickets are purchased once your funds are received and registration is confirmed. Refunds will not be issued after your tickets are purchased for the event.
