West Tennessee County Fairs: 2026 Dates and Information

Ferris wheels, farm animals, and demolition derbies are just some of the sights you can expect to see this year at fairs across West Tennessee. And, let us not forget about the cotton candy, warm pretzels, corn dogs, and my favorite . . . funnel cakes. It is wonderful you do not have to choose, because you can expect to enjoy those traditional fair foods along with rides, entertainment, pageant competitions, and more at the county fairs coming to the West Tennessee Area.

If you want to compete in any contests, be sure to check out the individual fair listings to learn about registration deadlines, which often occur before the actual fair dates. Beauty pageants, art and canning contests, animal competitions are just some of the many events children and teens can compete in to win prizes and recognition.

Several fairs are offering discounted admission tickets when you purchase your tickets now.

AUGUST

Tennessee State Fair 2026

Dates: Thursday, August 13, through Saturday, August 22, 2026.

Location: Lebanon, Tennessee

Note: Opening day, Thursday, August 13, 2026, special is $12 admission for ages 13 and older; $4.50 admission for ages six through 12, and free for children five and under. Regular admission is $14 for ages 13 and older and $5 for ages six through 12.

Henry County Fair 2026

Dates: Friday, August 21, through Saturday, August 29, 2026.

Location: Paris, Tennessee

Benton County Fair 2026

Dates: Monday, August 3, through Saturday, August 8, 2026.

Location: Camden, Tennessee

Note: Monday, August 3, through Thursday, August 7, admission is $5 and Saturday, August 8, is $10. School Day. Children five and under are free.

Decatur County Fair 2026

Dates: Tuesday, August 18, through Saturday, August 22, 2026.

Location: Parsons, Tennessee

Delta Fair 2026

Dates: Friday, September 4, through Sunday, September 13, 2026.

Location: Memphis, Tennessee
