Frist Art Museum Homeschool Mondays

Frist Art Museum holds Homeschool Mondays inviting homeschool families to drop-in and participate in a variety of educational activities designed to maximize the experience for homeschoolers. Some of the activities include special programming, multiple touring options, and the opportunity to connect with museum education staff to learn more about materials tied to selected exhibitions.
The featured exhibits:
- María Magdalena Campos-Pons: Behold (Through January 5, 2025)
- LaJuné McMillian: The Portal’s Keeper—Origins (Through January 5, 2025)
- Journey through Japan: Myths to Manga (October 25, 2024–February 16, 2025)
- Farm to Table: Art, Food, and Identity in the Age of Impressionism and Tennessee Harvest: 1870s–1920s (January 31–May 4, 2025)
- M. Florine Démosthène and Didier William: What the Body Carries (January 31–May 4, 2025)
- David C. Driskell & Friends: Creativity, Collaboration, and Friendship and Kindred Spirits: Intergenerational Forms of Expression, 1966–1999 (March 14–June 1, 2025
- Architecture Tour (TBD)
Homeschoolers can:
- Enjoy priority access to the Frist’s interactive art-making space, the Martin ArtQuest Gallery.
- Join a docent-guided tour
- Interact with the exhibitions in new and engaging ways with the Multisensory Cart.
- Experience the Educator Hub and speak with staff to learn more about the Frist’s education resources, where to find them, and how to leverage them.

10 a.m. – 5 p.m.: All-day access to the Martin ArtQuest Gallery and all galleries.
11 a.m. – 1 p.m.: In-Gallery Docent Experience and Multi-sensory cart available.
Admission to Homeschool Mondays is free for children ages 18 and younger, and $16 for adults.
