Jackson State Community College Holding Preview Day and Transfer Fair
Jackson State Community College (JSCC) will hold a Preview Day on Friday, April 11, 2025, for students interested in what the school has to offer and the pride, which comes with being a Green Jay. Attendees will learn about JSCC’s more than 60 programs and have the opportunity to meet with faculty, get involved with demonstrations, and even get hands-on experience with equipment and facilities.
JSCC is a next stop destination for many high school graduates wanting to continue their education as they pursue an associates degree or with plans to continue complete their general studies before transferring to a four-year institution. Many are surprised at the variety of academic and social opportunities available to students at the college. It is not uncommon for home school graduates to excel academically at JSCC while learning inside the structure of a classroom.
If you have an athlete, the sports programs are competitive and JSCC will introduce women’s volleyball and the addition of Men’s and Women’s Cross Country and Half-Marathon teams for the 2025 season.

JSCC Transfer Fair
If you are a current JSCC student and are interested in transferring to a four-year institution to pursue a bachelor’s degree, make plans to attend the JSCC Transfer Fair, which will be held in THE NEST (Gymnasium) on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. College recruiters from local and out-of-area will be available to speak with students about their options. Registration is not required.
