Murray Twins to Offer Free Scratch Coding Camp

Twin brothers, Shaun and Jared Murray, will offer a free three-day Virtual Coding Camp for Kids, ages six to twelve, Tuesday through Thursday, July 23 – 25, 2024. The camp is for students with little to no experience with Scratch coding and space is limited to 10 campers.

Shaun and Jared started coding at the age of six years old using Scratch. Now as seniors in high school, they want to share their love of coding with young children as a way of giving back with the hope of inspiring future coders.

Students attending the virtual camp will learn the basics of Scratch coding during the one-hour daily Zoom classes that will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. CST. Campers must be willing to commit to attending all three days and need the following the participate:
