Your Teen Can Join the Homeschool Trail Team and Make a Difference
Pinecrest Camp and Retreat Center is seeking teen student volunteers to join its Homeschool Trail Team to help them create and maintain its trails. The team will work on a trail used for home school programs and other events offered at the camp.
The projects volunteers will complete are mostly very easy and ones teens and families can participate in together. On the volunteer days, some of the tasks will include pruning, raking, lopping, and occasional root removal.
The volunteer workdays for March are Fridays March 7 and March 28, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Those interested in joining the team may contact [email protected] for more information.
Volunteers should be prepared for slightly rough terrain and wear long pants and boots. We have some tools available, though we encourage BYO tools if possible. We will provide snacks. Bring water.
