University of Memphis Planetarium Launches Summer Friday Shows for Kids { video trailers }
The University of Memphis M.D. Anderson Planetarium { 299 Maple Street, Jackson, 38301 } has some exciting star gazing activities planned for the summer as it invites kids to its Summer Friday Afternoons at the Planetarium series. Every Friday afternoon, it has a great lineup of planetarium shows for kids of all ages.
The 30 minute shows begin at 3:45 p.m. and include activities for children of all ages. Although registration is not required, it is recommended you arrive at least 15 minutes before the show before the doors close. Once the “in use” lights are on, entry will not be permitted.

July 3 – No show

July 31 – TimeSpace
The Summer Friday Afternoons at the Planetarium series will run through Friday, July 31, 2026.
