tnAchieves’ Haley Hysmith Announced as Homeschool Graduation 2025 Commencement Speaker
Homeschool Roster is pleased to announce Haley Hysmith, a COMPLETE Coach with tnAchieves, will be the commencement speaker for the Homeschool Graduation 2025. The ceremony, recognizing home school graduates in West Tennessee, will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025.
Haley Hysmith works with tnAchieves, which is the partnering organization of the TN Promise Scholarship. She serves Madison and surrounding counties by working closely with Jackson State Community College and TCAT Jackson. In her role, she helps support high school seniors in their transition from high school to college.
tnAchieves works in tandem with community colleges and Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology (TCATs) across the state, and if a student is enrolled in one of Hysmith’s service area institutions, she maintains contact with the student until they receive a post-secondary credential. The core of her work is to offer support and advocacy for students as they navigate their post-secondary journey.
Hysmith has been with tnAchieves in a professional capacity for two years, but started out as a tnAchieves mentor and also has past experience volunteering with young adults as a Youth Villages mentor.
Hysmith is a 2017 graduate of Chester County High School. She did dual enrollment with Jackson State Community College and Freed-Hardeman University, where she went on to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in communications in 2020.
Ms. Hysmith’s experience supporting and advocating for students, her academic journey, and how she became involved with tnAchieves makes her an inspiring choice as the commencement speaker for the Homeschool Graduation 2025.
