Town of Collierville to Hold Youth Fishing Rodeo
The Town of Collierville will hold a free Youth Fishing Rodeo at W.C. Johnson Park Lake on Saturday, May 9, 2026. Children, ages 12 and under, are encouraged to participate in the rodeo to gain more fishing experience as well as have the opportunity to win prizes for their “catch of the day”!
Prizes will be awarded in four categories:
Ages 6 and under
Ages 7 – 8
Ages 9 – 10
Ages 11 – 12
All children wanting to participate in the rodeo must pre-register. Online registration opens on Monday, March 30, 2026. Registration closes on Sunday, May 3, 2026.
On the day of the Youth Fishing Rodeo, the schedule is as follows:
8 a.m. – Check-in begins on-site.
9 a.m. – Rodeo kicks off.
11 a.m. – Weigh-in. Participants have two hours to fish before weigh-in.
