Elmwood Cemetery Tram Tours

Learn more about Memphis and Tennessee history by taking one of the Tram Tours offered at Elmwood Cemetery { 824 South Dudley Street, Memphis, 38104 } in Memphis, Tennessee. The cemetery is “living” history over its 80 acres. With more than 70,000 people buried at the cemetery, each one holds a special story to be told.

Upcoming Tram Tours are $10 plus tax and held on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Reservations are required and seating is limited to seven people, so reserve early.

Before attending a tour, look up the name of some of the notable people who are buried at the cemetery. Your child can research that person to learn more about them and their impact on local history. Once you are finished taking the Tram Tour, you can walk through and find their gravesite.
