Brooks Museum of Art 2024/2025 Homeschool Days

The Brooks Museum Homeschool Days has been offered for several years to children in the homeschool community. It is a gentle and engaging outreach of the museum that helps parents introduce their children to art, which is a subject that often gets left out of a homeschool schedule.

“The Brook’s Homeschool Days program offers families an array of different ways to learn about art at the museum. Families can choose to peruse the galleries, follow along with an interactive gallery guide, make art in the studio, or play in our interactive gallery Inside Art,” said Ali Bush, Brooks Museum Associate Director of Education. “These activities are scaled to make sure everyone in the group gets the most out of their museum visit.”

The Brooks Museum has set aside one day for six months this school year and invites children to come learn about art form with a variety of themes that both children and adults will enjoy. Families can choose to peruse the galleries, follow along with an interactive gallery guide, make art in the studio, or play in our interactive gallery Inside Art.
