Presenting 2026 Homeschool Graduate Annalyse Fuller

Annalyse Fuller is an independent homeschool student and has been homeschooled for eight and a half years. The family named their school Suncoast Preparatory Academy and it is under that name she and her four siblings are homeschooled. Throughout her homechool years, Annalyse never missed an opportunity to get involved and stay active, even when one door closed.
She shared what she enjoyed about homeschool, the experiences and memories, some tips, her future plans, and favorite places to visit in West Tennessee.
CHALLENGES: I was not able to play on public school sports teams.
BENEFITS: I enjoyed being able to work in my pjs and go at my own pace. Homeschooling allowed me to be flexible with what I was learning and do things relating to what I was interested in. Along with regular studies, I earned First Aid and CPR certifications, as well as child and baby CPR certification through the American Red Cross.
Although I was not able to play on public school teams, I was also able to participate in gameschooling, soccer, basketball, swim, softball, volleyball, archery, and the Keystone Club. I also teach a class of 9-11 year olds at my co-op.
FAVORITE MEMORY: It was really nice to find a large group of homeschooled teens. We met weekly, played games, and formed close friendships.
TIPS FOR STUDENTS: Dual enroll and do as many extra curriculars as you can.
TIPS FOR PARENTS: Join other homeschool groups with kids slightly older than your own, so you don’t have to use your oldest as a “guinea pig.” (Annalyse said with a laugh.)
FUTURE: Annalyse plans to get a second job and volunteer at a local fire station. She will pursue her calling to become a firefighter and eventually a paramedic, while continuing to grow her faith through theology and ministry.
Annalyse’s West Tennessee Favorites
Favorite place to eat: I like the Dixon Gallery & Gardens, Fire Museum of Memphis, and the Crystal Shrine Grotto.
Favorite place to go: Osaka Japanese Cuisine
Favorite thing to do: I like kayaking at Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park.
Congratulations to Annalyse, who is a West Tennessee Homeschool Graduation Class of 2026 senior!
