Did Your Student Miss Attending the Mandatory Tennessee Promise Meeting?

Graduating high school seniors who are using the Tennessee Promise for the 2024/2025 school year are required to attend a mandatory team meeting to maintain eligibility. All mandatory team meetings conducted by tnAchieves have been held in West Tennessee. Did your senior attend a mandatory meeting?

If your student missed attending the mandatory Tennessee Promise team meeting, they have until Wednesday, March 1, 2023, to complete the requirement. Students who missed the meeting must complete an excuse form, so they can gain access to the makeup webinar session. If a student needs further assistance, they should first reach out to their mentor who will be able to help them.

If your student did attend a mandatory team meeting conducted by tnAchieves, they should be able to see in their student portal that the requirement has been satisfied. Check to confirm that is shown. If it does not, they should first reach out to their mentor who will be able to provide assistance.

For students who live in Benton, Decatur, Hardin, Haywood, Henderson, Lauderdale, or McNairy Counties, read to learn how to complete the Tennessee Promise mandatory meeting requirement.
