Mandatory Tennessee Promise Team Meetings for Homeschool Students {West Tennessee}
If you have a high school, graduating senior planning to use the Tennessee Promise scholarship for their 2025/2026 school year, they will need to attend a county team meeting listed below.
All Tennessee Promise applicants are required to attend a team meeting to remain eligible for the scholarship. Students should attend the team meeting that is held in the county where they live.
You do not need to register to attend the team meeting, but must attend. If you are unable to attend the meeting, read here to learn what excuses will be accepted for missing a team meeting.
Tips:
1) Sign your name on the sign in sheet when you arrive and confirm your name is on the correct sheet before you leave. If your name is not on the roster, you will not receive credit for attending the meeting.
2) Bring a pen/pencil and notepad for taking notes.
3) Come with any questions you have regarding the Tennessee Promise scholarship, community service hours, etc.
4) Parents should attend the team meeting with their student if they are able, so they can ask questions and be informed.
5) If your child has already started earning community service hours (eight required), you may start logging those hours. Service hours must be completed and submitted for the fall 2024 school year by Tuesday, July 1, 2025.
