December is here and it is always a busy field trip month for Homeschool Roster. Check out the fun field trips on the schedule. MONDAY, December 1, 2025
FIELD TRIP: ICE! Featuring A Charlie Brown Christmas. It’s the coolest (literally) experience you may ever have. Space is still open for you to register.
Tennessee Promise spring 2026 community service hours due by 11:59 p.m.
Show your Tennessee State issued I.D. and get free admission at the National Civil Rights Museum from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m.
TUESDAY, December 2, 2025
FIELD TRIP: Christmas Arrangement Workshop. Create your own festive Christmas arrangement during this Make-N-Take experience. All supplies will be provided for you to create your own arrangement and be able to take it home to display for the holiday season. Space is still open for you to register.
WEDNESDAY, December 3, 2025
FIELD TRIP: Christmas Tree Farm and Woodcraft Ornament Making. Our visit will include a trailer ride through a tree patch as we learn how to identify different types of trees. There will be a wreath demonstration, a hands-ons craft making an ornament from tree rounds and finishing the morning off with hot cocoa. Space is still open for you to register.

FIELD TRIP: The Wizard of Oz. Swept to the enchanting land of Oz by a tornado, Dorothy Gale teams up with a Scarecrow, a Tin Woodsman, and a Cowardly Lion to find the Wizard, evading the Wicked Witch of the West who seeks the magical slippers on Dorothy’s feet, while discovering the true magic of friendship on her journey back home. Space is still open for you to register.
A reminder Tennessee Governor’s School applications are due!

FIELD TRIP: A Christmas Carol. Ebenezer Scrooge is a hard-hearted old miser who hates Christmas, exploits his clerk Bob Cratchit, and mocks those who seek to help the poor. Space is still open for you to register.
