Tennessee Soccer Referee Program Offering Certification Classes
The Tennessee Soccer Referee Program (TSRP) is offering referee certification classes across the state for people ages 13 years and older. There is a tremendous need for referees and the TSRP wants to be prepared to meet the demand as the fall soccer season approaches.
Several in-person classes are being offered in the West Tennessee area in July and August. Potential referees must complete the online course work before attending one of the in-person classes. Prior soccer playing experience is not necessary to become certified, but would definitely be helpful as a referee of the sport. Once certified, a referee may set their own work schedule to cover any number of games during a season.
