D.A.Y. Cosmetology Offers Scholarships to 2025 Graduates

D.A.Y. College of Cosmetology is making pursuing a degree in cosmetology more affordable this year by offering graduating high school seniors in the Class of 2025 a $1,000 scholarship towards tuition in the program of their choice at the school. Each year, many area students, including homeschoolers, choose D.A.Y. College of Cosmetology to become certified and licensed in cosmetology, esthetics, and nails. Through the scholarship, Amanda Young, owner of the college, is able to extend her “Christian morals and love” with others while helping them gain a lifelong and marketable career skills.

Students using the scholarship must be at least 16 years old, have earned either a high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED), and finishing in 2025.

D.A.Y Cosmetology celebrates seven years of being in business this week. Since its original opening, the college has grown to include three Tennessee campuses in Jackson, Paris, and Selmer. In the fall of 2025, its new campus in Sevierville will open and is currently enrolling students.
