Have You Considered Home School? Information Session to be Held

Homeschool Roster and Hardeman County Homeschoolers are hosting a free Education Information Session: Have You Considered Home school? on Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and Thursday, May 2, 2024, from 4 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. at the Bolivar-Hardeman County Library in Bolivar, Tennessee.

An overview of how to legally homeschool in Tennessee, homeschool styles, curriculum options, sports, local resources for homeschoolers, and an open time for attendees to get their home school questions answered.

If you have ever considered homeschool and thought the option was impossible for you, come learn more about the education option. Many parents are choosing home school to provide their children with an education experience that is tailored to them.

Jennifer has homeschooled for more than 15 years, graduated two children – one a college graduate and one currently attending college – and is cherishing the last years of homeschooling her third child. She has experience navigating the high school years catering to the learning styles and needs of her children, while preparing them for college and career. Jennifer believes the learning environment is not confined to four walls. She is an academic homeschool counselor with a focus on TSSAA sports and has been a Tennessee Promise mentor for six years.

The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required. If you have questions about the event, please e-mail [email protected] for more information.
