Show your Tennessee State issued I.D. and get free admission at the National Civil Rights Museum from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Individualized Education Account (IEA) application for the 2024/2025 school year closes today.
Tennessee Promise community service hours due today for students attending summer school using the scholarship.
WTHEA Warriors is holding a Ladies Open Gym for seventh through twelfth grade new and returning players from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Poplar Baptist Church, 1980 Hollywood Drive, Jackson, 38305.
TUESDAY, April 16, 2024
Spring Into Watercolor at the Painting for Teens afternoon watercolor painting class. Paint, brushes, and paper will be provided. Be inspired by the changing season or paint something that reminds you of spring. Class is geared towards students ages 13-18.
Open Tour Day at Veritas Collierville, 2005 East Winchester Road, Collierville, 38017, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Pinecrest Camp and Retreat Center’s Homeschool Hiking Club April hike was moved to this new date.
WEDNESDAY, April 17, 2024
The Mid-South Ice House is offering a Homeschool Learn to Skate Program every Wednesday, from 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. All ages from three to adult are welcome to attend. After the class, students are invited to stay free for the weekly Homeschool Skate from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Homeschool Book Club at the Jackson-Madison County Library from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The Metal Museum offers free admission to Tennessee residents with a Tennessee state issued photo ID for visitors 18 years of age or older. Visitors under the age of 17 without a state issued photo ID must be accompanied by a current Tennessee resident with a valid photo ID.
Open Campus Day at the Bridge Homeschool Tutorial, Macon Road Baptist Campus – 11015 US-64
Arlington, 38002, will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
FRIDAY, April 19, 2024
FIELD TRIP: Alpaca 101 is an informative and fun field trip that begins with a brief discussion on alpaca etiquette. Once the basics have been covered, we will discuss the unique characteristics of alpaca. The class will then come face-to-face with members of the herd.
