Christian Brothers University to Hold Preview Days for Prospective Students

Christian Brothers University (CBU), located in Memphis, Tennessee, is holding Preview Days and inviting prospective students and their parents to visit the campus to learn about its academic and social offerings. The university includes four academic Schools, the Graduate School, and the Global College as options for student study while attending a private and Catholic based on a Lasallian education.
Students will have the opportunity to explore the academic departments, meet faculty, tour the campus, eat lunch in the cafeteria, and get a glimpse into CBU life from the perspective of current students. Prospective students attending the event will be able to see CBU in person and imagine what it would like as students at the university.
“While exploring college websites and social media can be great starting points for the college search, to truly experience firsthand if a particular college or university is the right fit for you, taking advantage of visit experiences like CBU’s Preview Day is another important first step. Interact with our caring and dedicated faculty and staff, meet our students, and sit in a college class are just some of the highlights for this visit experience, find yourself at CBU,” said Erin B. Craig, Vice-President for Enrollment Management, Christian Brothers University.
Along with being recognized for its S.T.E.M. programming in undergraduate and graduate studies, CBU offers bachelor’s degrees in more than 60 academic majors and concentrations in the arts, business, engineering, and sciences. It also offers master’s degrees in Accounting (MAcc), Business Administration (MBA), Computer Information Systems (MSCIS), Data Science (MSDS), Education (MEd, MAT, MSEL), Engineering Management (MSEM), and Physician Assistant Studies (MSPAS).
Some notable historical facts about CBU are it was originally called Christian Brothers College and founded in 1871 beginning with a class of 87 male students. In 1970, it became co-educational accepting women, which today make up half of CBU’s student body. It was integrated in 1960. In June of 1990, Christian Brothers College officially became Christian Brothers University.
