Scholarship: Regions Riding Forward Scholarship Contest
SCHOLARSHIP: Riding Forward Scholarship Essay Contest
DESCRIPTION: Submit a video or written essay about an individual you know personally (who lives in your community) who has inspired you and helped you build the confidence you need to achieve your goals.
AWARD: Four $8,000 scholarships through each Quarterly Contest will be awarded.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Students must be a legal U.S. resident of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, or Texas; at least 16 or older; have at least one (1) year (or at least 18 semester hours) remaining before college graduation or (if you are not yet in college) begin your freshman year of college no later than the start of the 2025/2026 college academic school year. ACT OR SAT: Not required.
GPA BASED: Must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.0 in school (and if no GPA is provided at school, be in “good standing” or the equivalent thereof in school).
APPLICATION DEADLINE: Sunday, March 31, 2024 (first quarter); Sunday, June 30, 2024 (second quarter); Monday, September 30, 2024 (third quarter); and Tuesday, December 31, 2024 (fourth quarter)
